Ain't too proud to beg

TLC T-Shirt: RoyalTees London
Boots: Ego
Handbag: Zara
Shades: Dolls Kill

Back at it with a vintage re-worked t-shirt from RoyalLondon Tees. I bought three t-shirts from this company and love them all, but this TLC one is definitely my favorite because I love everything about 90s TLC. Their style, music, and vibes were so dope they seemed unreal to me. In this look, I wanted to go for a chic yet street and comfortable 90s look, which is why I chose to wear the t-shirt with a pair of baby blue heeled-boots along with a small, graphic handbag. I have been wearing large/extra-large t-shirts as dresses all summer so far because not only does it help serve looks, it is also way too hot to be wearing t-shirts with jeans or pants. Also, large t-shirts provide the real 90s look when everything was worn either super tight or baggy; there was never an in between.

Whenever I talk about how much I love TLC someone always asks me "What's your favorite song by them?" as if that is an easy question to answer because one does not simply have a favorite song by some of their favorite artists. However, if I was in a life or death situation and had to choose, it would be Red Light Special. That song is all kinds of sexy to me and the vocals are amazing, but I also love Ain't too Proud to Beg and Unpretty because both songs have such strong messages embedded in them. Everyone knows "No Scrubs" and "Waterfalls," but I tend to love artists' underground songs or the songs that almost no one really knows on certain albums but should because they are just as good as the top hits. Do not get me wrong, those two songs are classically gold but do not sleep on their other jams. If you have never listened to TLC or have only listened to "No Scrubs" and "Waterfalls, check out the playlist below of more bops by them.
