So it's September...and I start school in 2 days. I have been trying to forget that school is about to start and believe that it is still summer, but I came to a realization that summer is officially over. I am going into my senior year of high school, and I can not wait to graduate. High school is too much for me, but I have learned a lot from it. I plan on going into my senior year with style, so I bought this dress from the Kendall & Kylie collection sold at Pacsun, Nordstrom, and Revolve. I do not plan on wearing this at school, ever, but it is cute for a night out with friends. This dress comes in black, but I like this warm, neutral color for fall. I switched up my wardrobe a bit by adding a lot of ripped jeans, vintage t-shirts, over-sized sweatshirts/hoodies, and sneakers. At school, I don't want to do too much with my outfits, but I don't want to look like everyone else because what's the fun in that? That is why I do not own a lot of school apparel.
Some days, you'll see me in a strappy dress with either sneakers or heeled boots; other days, you'll see me in a huge sweatshirt with sneakers because I hate winter. I do not ride the same style wave as everyone. If I like a certain piece of clothing, I am going to wear it while forgetting that everyone wears that same piece of clothing because no one is going to wear the way I do. Lesson #1 from high school: Be yourself, and trust only yourself.
